CIVCO Introduces Ultra-Pro™ II Needle Guidance for GE C4-8-D Transducer
KALONA, IA, USA – CIVCO is announcing the release of its Ultra-Pro II needle guidance system for GE’s C4-8-D transducer. The Ultra-Pro II utilizes a two-part system consisting of a custom reusable biopsy bracket and a disposable snap-on needle guide. The Ultra-Pro II needle guidance system is designed to increase the productivity of ultrasound-guided procedures including tissue biopsy, fluid aspirations and catheter placement.
The single-use design of the needle guide reduces the risk of cross-contamination. Together, these tools offer physicians reduced technique variability, a shorter learning curve and reduced procedure time. The needle guide directs instruments according to on-screen software guidelines. In addition, multi-angle brackets offer professionals several needle paths to reach the targeted anatomy during puncture procedures.
